Crockett (Golden Retriever) and Tubbs (Husky)
My jeweler, Alfred, is a very nice guy.  He has a little office and is very casual.  He even brings his dogs, Crockett (Golden Retriever) and Tubbs (Husky), to work with him every day.  I made an appointment with him about a month or so ago.  When I entered his office I saw Tubbs, but no Crockett.  It turns out that Crockett had been in the office a couple weeks before and when he tried to get up to go home, he couldn’t.  He was rushed to the emergency vet clinic where they discovered that his spleen had ruptured.  It turns out that Crockett had a rather large tumor on his spleen.  He was diagnosed with haemangiosarcoma.  This is a pretty nasty cancer that spreads really fast once there has been a rupture.  The vet said he wouldn’t survive chemo and didn’t give him long to live.  I felt bad and decided to purchase a can of Transfer Factor for him to try.  I just heard back from him and he said that Crockett has more energy.  He is sleeping well at night and seems comfortable.  He also said that Crockett has already exceeded the vet’s life expectancy.  He knows it won’t keep him alive forever, but he is so happy that it is making the life he has left that much better.  I just wanted to pass this information on to all of you.  This stuff really does work!  I highly recommend informing your clinics about this product if they don’t already know about it.  It could really benefit a lot of animals out there!  Crockett is 11-years-old just so you know.  He is such a sweet dog and Alfred was so heartbroken when he found out about the cancer.  I am sure he will continue to give Crockett the Transfer Factor for the rest of his life.  He has even started Tubbs on it to help with his joints and energy.

Thank you both so much for coming in to talk with all of us about this product!  I would never have known that we even carried a product like this if it weren’t for the two of you.

“ we’ve not seen a recurrence of the belly licking/chewing or lesions so we’re hopeful. We also took Sam off the special diet he was on to test for food allergies, and he is clearly happier with his food now that he is back to eating Iams, and able to eat doggies “cookies.” Overall, he seems better/happier. He does well eating the TF Canine Formula..”

After one month of treatment with TF Canine Formula the T4 level remained unchanged at 1.6 ug/dl.
After three months of treatment with TF Canine Formula the T4 level had risen to 2.3 ug/dl but was still low.
After eight months of treatment with TF Canine Formula the T4 level had risen to 3.5 ug/dl which was excellent.

Owners discontinued giving the TF Canine formula and Snickers relapsed completely with foul smelling ears and very itchy skin. Started Snicker back on the TF Canine Formula and within a few weeks the symptoms were resolved.

Thyroid test revealed that he had a heritable form of thyroid autoimmune disease and was hypothyroid. In response to that we dispensed Soloxine .4mg tablets and TF Canine Complete ½ TBSP to be top-dressed on his food once a day.
Two weeks later patient seemed to be responding favorably to the medications. Hair was growing in very well and the hyper pigmentation was decreasing. The owner was very satisfied with his response.

Two weeks following patient began to self excoriate cervical area again. Owner opted to stay on current medical regimen and increase applications of the pet solutions spray. Kane was presented to us several times for reoccurring yeast and bacterial infections.

Bullet
Diagnosis” autoimmune Fibrinous Steatitis
Breed: Weimeraner
Bullet, a 3 year old male Weimeraner, was presented to us due to multiple swellings throughout his dorsal midline and dorsal and lateral cervical areas. The swelling on the mid-dorsal was lanced and approximately 40 cc serum was extracted. However, no puss was noted. The enlarged areas on the prescapular and cerival areas bilaterally were lymph nodes. We performed a biopsy and sent a sample to board certified pathologhists for evaluation. They reported Fibrinous Steatitis. an autoimmune condition. We dispensed Transfer Factor Canine Complete and the problem resolved..

Two months later the patient was again presented for enlarged prescapular, cervical and facial lymph nodes. We started him on Transfer Factor Canine Formula and prednisone.
Three weeks later a recheck found prescapular and cervical lymph nodes were normal size. The facial lymph nodes were still slightly swollen. Dental X-rays were taken to rule out dental abscess. Facial lymph node biopsy results from board certified pathologists revealed lymphofollicular hyperpasia with sinus histiocytosis and medullary fibrosis. We continued treatment with Transfer Factor Canine.

Two months following, patient was presented to us alert, active, eating well with a healthy hair coat and skin. There was no evidence of swelling on his prescapular region and his suborbital swellings were much smaller.
The owner continues to treat Bullet with the Transfer Factor Canine Complete.

Jonah
Presenting Problems: Cancer
 Diagnosis: Anal Sac Adenocarcinoma
 Previous Treatment: Piroxicam and Amlodipine
 Patient: Jonah
Age: 11 years
Sex: Neutered Male
Breed: English Cocker Spaniel

Jonah, an eleven year old neutered male English Cocker Spaniel, was presented to us after Kansas State University diagnosed him with a grade 3 anal sac adenocarcinoma.

The owner noted also that he was severely licking at his paws and legs.

Jonah had a 1 cm mass in the rectum. He was currently being treated with Piroxicam and Amlodipine. The owner was concerned about Jonah’s cancer, but did not want to use chemotherapy.

We started Jonah on Transfer Factor Canine.
One month after treatment Jonah was presented to us for a recheck. The mass was still approximately the same size, however it seemed to be less dome shaped and slightly flatter on the top. He was still alert, active and eating well for his owners. The owners also noted that he was only now occasionally licking at his paws. She also feels that he has a “great” quality of life given the diagnosis.
Two months after treatment we found that the mass had metastasized to another marble-sized growth and another pear-sized growth. He was still alert, active and eating well for his owners. They continued with the Piroxicam and Transfer Factor Canine and started him on stool softener.
Four months after treatment he is still doing well. He is alert, active and eating well. The mass may have increased very slightly in size upon palpation.

Digital imaging revealed degenerative joint changes in the shoulder. We suspected inhalant allergies were causing the licking and chewing his feet. We started Toby on 2 Transfer Factor Canine and Adequan injections.

After one month of treatment the owner noticed improvement. Toby was now only slightly limping, with increased stamina and improved ability to jump. He was also more active and was only mildly chewing, licking and scratching at his body parts. The owner also felt that his quality of life was better.

Age: 9 years
Sex: Neutered Male
Breed: Chesapeake Bay Retriever
Otis, a nine-year-old neutered male Chesapeake Bay Retriever, was presented to us for loss of appetite, coughing, difficulty breathing and lethargy. Otis was coughing up a dark, bloody mucous. Upon examination we found that his lymph nodes were swollen. Digital imaging revealed that lung fields were congested, and a mass appeared in the center of the chest. Board Certified Radiologists at VDIC reported that the images showed free fluid in the chest and enlarged lymph nodes in the chest. It was their opinion that these finding were most likely due to cancer. Lymph node biopsies taken from the neck and behind the knee were submitted to Colorado State University. CSU reported Lymphoma. We started Otis on Transfer Factor Canine, Furosemide, Prednisone and Diphenhydramine. The prognosis was grave. We didn’t expect Otis would live through the weekend.

Three weeks later the owner reported Otis was improving. He was breathing more easily, not coughing as hard, was more active and had regained his appetite. The owner is still continuing to give the medications along with Transfer Factor Canine.
Two months later, Otis is still doing very well and the owner is very happy that his quality of life is much improved. The owner is happy to have had more time to spend with his companion, knowing that the prognosis is terminal.

Suzy
a 12 year old spayed female Boston Terrier, was presented to us for PU/PD. An ERD test was performed which showed a result of strong positive. According to the owner, Suzy was experiencing some coughing, excessive snoring, occasional diarrhea, dandruff and head shaking. She also had some trouble jumping which the owner believed to be age related.
An earlier ERD test performed 6 months prior was a mild positive. Now the ERD test came back as a strong positive, We switched her diet to Hill’s prescription diet K/D and started her on TF Canine Formula once daily.

After 1 month of treatment Suzy’s coughing and dandruff had improved. According to the owner she was “more active than before” Suzy was no longer shaking her head. However, she was still having occasional diarrhea and reluctance to jump.
After 2 months of treatment Suzy’s coughing and dandruff were more improved. She was still having occasional diarrhea and reluctance to jump. The owner also noticed a small mole on the top of her head. A blood chemistry profile (BCP) turned out to be unremarkable. The patient also was now refusing to eat.
A week later the owner presented us with a urine sample due to her inappropriate urination in the house and excessive urinating. The urinalysis revealed 3+ protein and a low specific gravity of 1.005 otherwise unremarkable. We dispensed Cephalexin 250 mg for 1 week to rule out an occult infection.
After 3 months of treatment Suzy was now “eating good.” Her owner felt she had a good quality of life.

Three weeks later thyroid evaluation revealed Hypothyroidism. We began her on 0.3 mg Soloxine twice daily abnd removed the geriatric wart on her head with a laser. We also found her cardiac murmur to be slightly more pronounced. Suzy also had and enlarged abdomen due to abdominal fluid. We increased the Enalapril to 10 mg twice daily and also added Furosemide 10 mg to be given twice daily.

After 4 months of treatment Suzy the owners reported an increase in Suzy’s activity levels. She still had some dandruff, but otherwise the owners didn’t note any other problems.

We drained fluid from her abdomen. One week later she was presented to us again to have her abdomen drained. However there was no fluid on either side. Digital imaging revealed very rounded hepatic edges. The hepatic silhouette was enlarged with a large grape-sized out pocketing of the liver noted on the caudal aspect. We suspected neoplasia. An hepatic ultrasound confirmed the diagnosis. A blood chemistry profile (BCP) revealed elevated ALP of 826 and ALT of 320. We recommended a biopsy of the liver and Colorado State University pathology evaluation. The owners declined due the risks involved to allow her to enjoy her life as is. We switched her diet from Eukanuba Early Renal to Hill’s prescription diet L/D.
The owners continue to give TF Canine Formula once daily.

Toby
Presenting Problems: listlessness, anorexia, scratching
Diagnosis: Suspect Allergies
Previous Treatment: Diphenhydramine, Hill’s Prescription Diet Ultra Z/D,
Patient: Toby
Age: 3 years
Sex: Neutered Male
Breed: Yorkshire Terrier
Toby, a 3 year old neutered male Yorkshire Terrier, was presented to us due to listlessness and anorexia. The owner stated the Toby was very severely scratching at his body parts and rubbing against everything, and had very severe irritability. He was also severely licking his body parts and severely depressed. He also was experiencing significant decreased activity and spent a significant amount of time grooming himself. He had a mild cough and according to the owner, “He trembles a lot, needs to be held a lot when not feeling well.”
The CBC was normal and unremarkable. We suspected inhallant allergy or contact dermaitits as his chewing and biting seemed to be exaggerated immediately following periods of being outside. We dispensed Transfer Factor Canine Formula.

At the 1month recheck the owners reported improvement.
After 2 months of treatment Scruffy continued to do about the same as he was doing after 1 month.
After 3 months of treatment he was licking and chewing at his body parts and grooming and scratching himself less. He was less lethargic and depressed. The owners felt that he had an improved quality of life.
The owners continue to treat Toby with Transfer Factor Canine.
